Hunger Free Chengannur Project is the Joint Venture of YMCA CHENGANNUR FEST and Foundation For Hope. Free Food Coupon Distribution is one of the main programme of Hunger Free Chengannur Project. The Free Food Coupon for noon meals programme was inaugurated by Sri.K.Shibu Rajan, Municipal Chairman of Chengannur Municipality. The Inaugural meeting was presided over by the Fest Chairman Mr. P. M. Thomas.

The second Phase programme, the Taluk level free food distribution programme was inaugurated by Sri.  Kodikunnil Suresh, MP. Fest Chairman  Mr. P.M.Thomas presided over the meeting. Mr. K. Shibu Rajan, Municipal Chairman, Mr.Thomas Kuthiravattom, Ex.M.P, Mr. K. G.Kartha, delivered the felicitation.

YMCA CHENGANNUR FEST in association with Foundation for Hope distributed 500 relief kit in Chengannur  Taluk. Each kit contains Rice, Sugar, Coffee  Powder,  Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder, Bengalgram,  Dall,  and Cooking Oil. Kit distribution function was presided over by the President Mr. Tom Murickummoottil and, Fest Chairman and Former President Mr.P.M.Thomas inaugurated the distribution. Each Kit cost around Rs.950/-.

​As part of the COVID 19 - CORONA. Relief Response= 2nd Phase initiative YMCA CHENGANNUR Fest in association with Foundation For Hope, Newyork distributed 5000 face mask in Chengannur  Taluk. Former President Mr.P.M.Thomas inaugurated the distribution.

YMCA CHENGANNUR FEST and Foundation For Hope, New York distributed face mask, Hand gloves and Sanitizers to the YMCAs   in Chengannur  Sub Region. ​YMCA CHENGANNUR FEST and Foundation For Hope, New York distributed Vegetable Kit to the poor family   in Chengannur. Mr. K.Shiburajan, Municipal Chairrman, inagurated the distribution. Mr. Jacob Vazhiyambalam, Suja John, Jose.K.Goerge, Shyla Jacob, Adv.D. Vijayakumar, Dr. Shirly Philip, Tom Murickummoottil, and the members and volunterrs of Vishappu Rahita Committee, Chengannur paticipated the programme. Mr. P. M. (Free Face Shield Distribution Programme to the Police)

As part of the COVID 19 - CORONA. Relief Response= 3rd Phase initiative YMCA CHENGANNUR Fest in association with Foundation For Hope, Newyork distributed 500 face Shield  to the police troop batalion members in Chengannur  Taluk.. Chengannur DYSP, Mr. P.V.Baby inaugurated the distribution. Mask’s were handed over by Mr. P.M Thomas, Chairman.

YMCA CHENGANNUR FEST and Foundation For Hope, New York jointly honoured the health workers who have rendered their services during the corona time in Chengannur. Since the health workers are continuously engaged in the covid releif activities ,free lunch is providng from the  “JANAKEEYA HOTEL” with the support of fest committee.
